Thin As Memories started as an experimental project (with Fabio Mineo on drums) in Palermo, Sicily, then I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland (UK), where I decided to change the style of the music and went more with a Singer-songwriter style.
Main inspirations are artists like Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, early Radioheads, Sigur Ros.
For some time I started using looper and effects pedals but then decided to return back to the simple acoustic guitar (my "Berta" which is an Epiphone Masterbilt AJ45ME).
During 2017/2018 I have spent time writing/recording new material which I am going to release in the future.
On the 30th of July 2018 a 2-songs single (Short Tales) was released onto the major streaming platforms. On the 8th of March 2019 The single "The Best Part of Me was released.
Thin As Memories has been featured artist for events such as Live @ The Loft (L@TL) and Plectrums & Pickering's at Brewhemia Edinburgh.
In February 2018, Thin As Memories was the opening artist for Gareth Dunlop at The Mash House (Edinburgh).
